Challenge match 2026
Wednesday 15th April was the Challenge match for the Aqua Bowl Trophy, held this year at Minchinhampton Golf Club, Henbury ‘A’
represented the Bristol and District Alliance, and Minchinhampton represented the Cotswold League.
Well done to both teams for making it to the Challenge Match. It was a windy day with periods of persistent rain. Henbury fought hard, but Minchinhampton proved too strong and were victorious by 5 matches to 2.
Congratulations to Minchinhampton. Everyone returned to the Clubhouse to warm up with a delicious afternoon tea.

Challenge match 2025
The Aqua Glass Challenge competition is played annually, between the most recent winners of the BDLGA League and the Cotswold and District League. This year the match was played on the 13th April 2025 where the hosting team, Bristol and Clifton Golf Club, played Minchinhampton Golf Club. Though cold it was dry and the course was in excellent condition. The Home Team, Bristol and Clifton, won a very close contest by 4 games to 3. Congratulations to Bristol and Clifton and thank you for hosting and providing an excellent afternoon tea.
